Minister of State Helen McEntee attends Financial Times 'Brexit and Beyond' Summit

MoS McEntee, Press Releases, Europe, Great Britain, Ireland, 2018

The Minister of State for European Affairs, Helen McEntee T.D., is today attending the third Financial Times ‘Brexit and Beyond Summit’.  Speaking in London ahead of the event, Minister McEntee said:

“I’m delighted to speak at today’s event organised by the Financial Times. As the Brexit negotiations develop, the Government is committed to reaching out to a wide range of stakeholders in the UK and this is a great opportunity to engage with people from business, politics, media and academia.

"Given my responsibility for European Affairs, I’m also pleased to have the chance to look ahead to Ireland’s relationships beyond Brexit.  This includes our place in Europe as a committed and active EU Member State, and our future bilateral relationship with the UK.”

During her visit to London, the Minister of State will also meet with the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union, Robin Walker MP.
